Support Engineer
firstPRO is in search of a dynamic, creative, and diligent individual who possesses a keen interest in learning, emphasizes collaboration, boasts excellent technical prowess, and demonstrates strong communication skills to join our team as a Software Support Engineer. This is a permanent position, with compensation up to $75,000 per year. This role requires an onsite presence during training, then it will require the individual to be onsite 3 days per week. For this reason, candidates will need to be local to home offices in Fort Washington, PA to be considered.
Responsibilities:

- Extend assistance in the implementation, troubleshooting, and upkeep of Information Technology (IT) systems housing the Software Suite.
- Oversee the infrastructure of IT systems and associated processes.
- Deliver support for day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution concerning implementations within IT systems.
- Participate in the resolution process of the ticketing system and remain actively engaged.
- Exhibit proficiency in Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server Databases.
- Demonstrate familiarity with AWS and Azure Cloud Environments.
- Collaborate effectively within a team, contributing to overall team success.
- Apply critical thinking skills to analyze problems and address issues in both internal and customer IT environments.
- Occasional travel may be required.
Requirements:

- Possession of a 4-year or 2-year college degree in a computer or business-related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in System Administration.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Linux.
- Knowledgeable about Oracle and/or SQL databases.

- Familiarity with Helpdesk concepts and processes.
- Successful completion of security clearance.
- Ability to accommodate extended work schedules, meet tight deadlines, and manage conflicting priorities.
- Adaptability to work in diverse social, cultural, legal, and political environments.
