Senior Network Engineer
firstPRO is seeking a Senior Network Engineer as a member of the infrastructure team, who will be tasked with assisting in architectural design and leading the implementation, maintenance, and support of critical network and telecommunication systems for our clients. This role entails providing both onsite and remote support to internal and external stakeholders, so candidates should live within a commutable distance from Marlton, NJ to be considered. This is a full-time, permanent position with compensation up to $130,000 per year, based on experience.
Responsibilities:

- Respond promptly to requests from the Customer Support Center, staff, site personnel, and external vendors, offering technical assistance and level 4 support for data and voice network systems.
- Implement and administer LAN/WAN networks across multiple locations supporting VoIP-based phone systems and video conferencing. This includes configuring switches, routers, firewalls, VPN tunnels, load balancers, DNS/IP address management, and backup/recovery solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior team members on technical matters and emerging technologies to foster skill development within the team.
- Drive efficiency by automating and optimizing recurring tasks while monitoring their efficacy.
- Collaborate with management to provide feedback and recommendations aimed at enhancing network-related systems and solutions, safeguarding company information assets.
- Lead network technology upgrade or expansion projects, overseeing the installation of hardware/software and conducting integration testing to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
Requirements:

- Six to Ten years of experience supporting enterprise network systems, with a preference for familiarity with Cisco or Aruba Networks.
- Certification in enterprise-grade network systems is mandatory, with preference given to candidates holding certifications from Cisco or Aruba Networks.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Mandatory technical certifications such as Cisco CCNP, Cisco CCIE, Aruba AMCP, or Palo Alto PCNSE.
