Senior Network Engineer
Position Responsibilities:
• Responds to Customer Support Center, staff, site personnel and outside vendors to provide technical assistance and level 4 support of data and voice network systems.
• Implement and administer LAN/WAN networks in multiple locations that support VoIP based phone system and video conferencing including switches, routers, firewalls, VPN tunnels, load balancers, DNS/IP address management, and backup/recovery solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior team members on technical issues and emerging technologies.
• Automate and optimize recurring tasks and monitor their effectiveness.
• Provide feedback to manager regarding recommendations to further improve network related systems and solutions that support the business and protect company information assets.
• Leads network technology upgrade or expansion projects, including installation of hardware, software, and integration testing, as well as coordinating these activities without disturbing function of other systems.
• Provide technical recommendations that improve network related systems and solutions that support the business and protect company information assets.
Position Qualifications Required / Experience Required:
• Six to Ten years’ experience in supporting enterprise network systems, Cisco or Aruba Networks preferred.
• Certification in enterprise network grade systems required, Cisco or Aruba Networks
Required Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity Engineering, related degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Training/Certifications/Licensure:
• Technical Certification required, Cisco CCNP, Cisco CCIE, Aruba AMCP, Palo Alto PCNSE
