Business Analyst/ Technical Writer
firstPRO is seeking a Business Analyst/ Technical Writer to play a crucial role in enhancing business processes and coordinating IT projects related to connected vehicle systems. This person will collaborate closely with both IT colleagues and business partners to ensure transparent communication and work-plan progress tracking. This position involves producing comprehensive documentation and presentations for various organizational levels, supporting our client’s aim to deliver outstanding digital experiences to customers across multiple markets. This is a one-year contract position requiring 3 days per week onsite at offices in Camden, NJ. Compensation for this position is up to $70/hr., based on experience.

- Evaluate existing workflows and suggest improvements based on industry trends.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into functional requirements.
- Work with subject matter experts to collect relevant data.
- Write and Edit Content: Develop procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Produce materials to help end-users understand software applications and systems.
- Review internal and external communication for clarity and accuracy.
- Continuously assess business processes and propose enhancements.
- Train teams in software usage and offer ongoing support.
- Keep abreast of technological advancements to produce relevant documentation.

Requirements:

- 4 to 6 years in a relevant role.
- Ability to analyze data and propose solutions.
- Deep understanding of business operations and process modeling.
- Familiarity with databases, programming, and software development life cycles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, SharePoint, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Ability to identify issues and propose solutions.
- Capable of gathering information and creating clear documentation.
