Business Analyst
firstPRO is looking to fill a contract-to-hire opportunity for a Business Analyst position at a rapidly growing company based in Center City, Philadelphia. The role is hybrid, requiring 1-2 days onsite per week, with compensation up to $50/hr., based on experience. The Business Analyst will play a crucial role within the IT team, supporting medical device management and patient client support services.
Responsibilities:

- Develop strong relationships with business users and external partners, understanding business functions to recommend process and systems improvements.
- Gather requirements and create documentation, ensuring alignment with IT and business unit objectives.
- Analyze business user needs, developing requirements for projects and enhancements.
- Evaluate project requests, articulating scope, costs, and benefits.
- Recommend process and systems improvements through analysis and evaluation.
- Conduct analyses to investigate operational issues.
- Manage project plans, monitor progress, resolve problems, and recommend actions to keep projects on track and within budget.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure understanding of business requirements and specifications.
- Develop test plans and cases, coordinate testing phases, and oversee user acceptance testing.
- Participate in the implementation of process and system changes, including post-implementation activities.
- Update and develop system and user documentation.
- Participate in user training sessions as required.
Requirements:

- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, JIRA).
- Expertise in MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on personal skills improvement.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Well organized with excellent time-management skills.
- Experience in developing enterprise web applications with responsive design for mobile devices is desirable.
- Working knowledge of marketing automation platforms and CRMs (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or 6-10 years of equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in all aspects of SDLC as a Business Analyst with QA responsibilities or Project Manager.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong social interaction abilities.
