Mobile Solutions Architect
firstPRO is seeking a Mobile Architect to lead the vision, roadmaps, and technical solutions for guest-facing web and mobile applications, driving enterprise transformation through technology, people, and processes for our client who is a well-known travel company. This role requires a 25% on-site presence in Miami, Florida and candidates also must be willing to travel 3-5 times per year. This is a full-time, permanent position with compensation based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Determine technical direction and system design with delivery teams.
- Stay updated on technology trends; evaluate and prototype potential solutions.
- Shape architecture and processes to achieve business outcomes.
- Promote team development and manage architectural resources.
- Create and maintain architecture roadmaps aligned with business needs.
- Provide guidance to IT management and business partners.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or Math.
- 3+ years as an Architect; 7-10 years in IT.
- Expertise in iOS, Android, HTML5, CSS3, and mobile frameworks.
- Experience with mobile analytics, SDKs, and security protocols.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, Swift/Objective-C, Java, and HTML5/JS/CSS3.
- Knowledge of OOP, design patterns, and high availability architectures.
- Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Experience managing technical teams and driving innovation.
- Familiarity with IAAS and PAAS solutions from Azure and AWS.
