Responsibilities

• • Project Identification: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables; perform needs analyses; identify key stakeholders and project team members.
  • Project Initiation and Planning: Secure project approval, determine resource availability, and manage project progress; facilitate discussions and coordinate customer input; complete detailed project plans; communicate project objectives to the team; present project plans to stakeholders.
  • Project Execution: Manage project execution from start to finish; establish rapport with collaborating departments; meet regularly with project sponsors to communicate progress and provide recommendations.
  • Project Closure: Conduct post-project evaluations; ensure alignment with desired outcomes; complete lessons learned and present findings; assemble and archive project documents.

Requirements

• • Experience: Minimum 3 years in project management, quality, or process improvement; ideally 5 years with business analysis experience in a healthcare or research environment; experience driving cross-functional teams is a plus.
  • Skills: Advanced knowledge of Project Management Body of Knowledge, productivity tools, and budgets; intermediate knowledge of BABOK, Lean, Six Sigma, change management, risk management, and healthcare/research operations; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office; excellent communication, time management, organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills; ability to work independently and influence stakeholders.
  • Education: BA/BS degree required; MA/MS preferred.
  • Certifications (Preferred): Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Project Management Professional (PMP), Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB).
