Title – Continuous Improvement Lead
Location – Pedricktown, NJ
Hours – Monday through Friday, standard work hours
Pay – $100k-$110k, depending on experience
Benefits – Full time, permanent role, with benefits and PTO
Our client is currently looking for a Continuous Improvement Lead. This is a permanent opportunity, meaning you are hired as permanent employee from start.
Responsibilities
– Proactively prioritize opportunities to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality to support improved business results
– Participate and lead lean initiatives, such as 5S, Value Stream mapping, process observation, analysis, and Kaizen events
– Support the development of supervisors, managers, and other leaders on continuous improvement and change management
Use formal, data-driven problem-solving and implementation methodologies to drive initiatives and deliver results
Experience
– Minimum of 5-years’ continuous improvement experience within a manufacturing company
– Minimum of 2-years’ experience leading Lean trainings and safety audits
– Minimum of 2-years’ experience managing direct reports
– Minimum of a completed bachelor’s degree, engineering degree preferred
– Lean certifications required
– Excellent documentation skills
– Attention to detail, organized, excellent time management
– Computer skills including Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, and Excel
Physical Requirements
– Ability to sit, walk, and/or stand for long periods of time within a production environment
– Ability to lift to 20 pounds
