Technology Project Manager
firstPRO is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Technology Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of technology projects. The ideal candidate will have a robust project management background, strong communication abilities, and experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, and business stakeholders—to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. While this is a work from home position, local candidates are preferred in case there is an instance that this employee will need to be onsite at the Wilmington, DE offices. Compensation for this position is up to $90/hr., based on experience.
Responsibilities

- Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, schedule, resources, and budget requirements.
- Define project goals, deliverables, and success metrics in alignment with stakeholder needs.
- Identify and address project risks, constraints, and dependencies, escalating issues as necessary for timely resolution.
- Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication, alignment with objectives, and effective collaboration across departments.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, facilitating meetings, status updates, and retrospectives.
- Monitor and report on project milestones and KPIs, presenting regular status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
- Manage project budgets, allocating resources efficiently to balance workload and priorities, while ensuring financial accountability.
- Track and document project outcomes, conducting post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements

- 10+ years of experience in project management within technology or software development, specifically with Windows migrations, Office 365 migrations, MS Tenant migrations, and application authentication across multiple tenants.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven success in delivering complex technology projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.
- Proficiency in project management tools like ServiceNow, Smartsheet, VersionOne, and MS Project.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Experience with risk and change management processes (ProSci and ADKAR).
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, or ScrumMaster.
