- What do you do? What’s your day-to-day like?
- I am on the A+F Contract Division. I started as a Senior Recruiter in October 2019 and was promoted to the Recruiting Manager in October 2021. I manage a recruiting desk and also two Junior Recruiters. My day to day consists of talking to candidates, making the match between candidates + job openings, setting up interviews and hopefully helping the candidate find their next job! I also assist the two Junior Recruiters with their desk and any questions/issues that might pop up.

- I love how every day is different!
- What are the biggest challenges in your job?
- There are a ton of ups and downs in recruiting! The downs can be overwhelming sometimes and it’s a challenge to not let it get to you.
- What accomplishment are you most proud of?
- I am proud that I trained the two Junior Recruiters with no recruiting experience and now they manage their own desk and love what they do!
- What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever gotten?
- Do not let the small stuff get to you and never take your foot off the pedal! There are a lot of ups and downs in recruiting, and you should just keep moving!
- What are some of the standout factors you’re looking for when you match candidates with clients?
- Personality/culture fit! I truly believe anyone can learn a job/new responsibilities if they are a good match for the company and enjoy working with their co-workers and manager.
- Do you stay in touch with your previous placements?
- Yes – absolutely!
- What do you like to do for fun outside of work?
- I like to run on the Schuylkill River Trail, do yoga/barre class, hangout with friends, and try new restaurants in Philadelphia.
- If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?
- I want to go to Thailand badly! Pad Thai is my favorite food 🙂 I also want to get out of my comfort zone and experience something new!
